The epicenter was 22 km away from Gong county, 27 km from Changning County, 33 km from Xingwen County, 39 km from Gaoxian County, 43 km from Junlian County, 52 km from Yibin City, 261 km from Chengdu City and 211 km from Chongqing city. At 07:34 on June 18, an earthquake of magnitude 5.3 occurred in Changning County, Yibin City, Sichuan Province (28.37 n, 104.89 E), with a focal depth of 17 km. As of 5:20 on the 18th, 11 people were killed, 122 injured and 14 trapped.
